We are Kañaris indigenous peoples, born and raised in the heart of the Ecuadorian Andes, heirs of ancestral wisdom and traditional agricultural practices; we are also knowledgeable about nutrition and health care by profession; the last 20 years we have dedicated ourselves to the research and creation of healthy foods based on ancestral cereals; currently we are working with THE millenary cereal amaranth, known in the Andes as "THE FOOD OF THE GODS" has been cultivated and consumed by the native peoples, as the main source of food for millennia; this super-food currently science has classified it as a NUTRACEUTIC FOOD for its nutrition and therapeutic properties.
Our products are intended to care for and nourish the most vulnerable stages in the life of the human being, such as Gestation and Lactation (Vital Amaranth); and the care of feeding the baby in his early years (Toddler Amaranth); they are APLV-grade, gluten-free and have no added chemical additives, come from responsible farming practices and in biodegradable packaging.
In the development of our productive activity, dozens of indigenous farming families and communities are involved and benefited, and other sources of employment are created directly and indirectly; our products seek to rescue and reactivate the consumption of ancestral foods, improve the quality of life and care for the planet.
