Over a decade ago, we founded Alimentos Sanygran in the agri-food city of Tudela as a start-up that won an innovation project. Today, we take pride in being one of the leading companies in the FoodTech industry in Spain and having the largest industrial capacity in Southern Europe for the production of plant-based solutions.
We have three technologies in-house for the production of these type of products. We are experts in dry extrusion. Some years ago, we developed LegumeatÂ®, a mix of soy protein, beans, and rice.
Moreover, we have HME technology to produce meat and fish analogs. Those can be the perfect ingredients for different recipes like wraps, pasta, or salads. We also have a novel technology, Veggian (developed by Ctic-Cita), with this technology we produce vegetable mince meat, not only with meat flavor but also with fish flavor. This could be the perfect ingredient for lasagnas, toppings for pizza, pastries, and other recipes.
Our mission is to position ourselves in the protein value chain to democratize prices, so we have included a line of protein extraction to produce pea and fava protein concentrate, starch, and other ingredients perfect for plant-based products.
