farmers are the solution?
If milk does not have to come from a cow, we can plant trees on farms and turn emissions into uptake. Farmers then become the protectors of nature. The COWLESS transition model is designed to encourage farmers to plant (nut) trees. Trees are cool and they have a revenue model. By investing now, we will soon make tomorrow's new milk.
Certain nut trees also grow well in the Netherlands. In early 2022, we therefore planted the first 555 hazelnut trees together with an organic dairy farmer.
The goal: to make Dutch nut milk soon.
